In some cases, the tenants and the homeowners may extend the length of a current rental agreement, or the property may be in the process of being rented. As a result, we always confirm availability as part of our response to all rental inquiries. We also proactively update this information one month before the anticipated available dates when possible.
Each property has different rental requirements regarding paperwork to prove your payment capability before accepting the rental, but providing paperwork does not obligate the landlord to accept the rent. One of the general rules you need to know is that the renter (future tenant) is the one who pays for the contract, even though it is written up and legalized by the owner´s notary; the notary fee will also vary depending on the rental amount and period.
The price does not include taxes yet, and the regime to which the owners are registered in Guatemala may vary. Please confirm in advance what type of invoice you can obtain.
